The dry rock garden or Zen Garden is a uniquely Japanese form of gardening that has been practised since the Muromachi period (1336 to 1573). Rocks are raked around larger stones, typically in an enclosed or walled area. The garden is intended to aid in meditation and to imitate the intimate essence of nature.

This Saturday join Nikka Yuko's Cody Fong for a special presentation on the dry rock garden. Guests will be shown the various tools and rakes for creating designs and will be allowed to try their hand at raking.

The presentation is from 1-2PM, demonstrations from 2-4PM.
